According to the official notice issued by the Administration of Los Glaciares National Park, trail access fees for the El Chaltén area (Northern Zone of Los Glaciares NP) came into effect on October 21, 2024. Three access portals were also established, functioning as entry checkpoints located at the start of each trail sector.

Below, we share the current fare for the Season 2025-2026 and detail the Portals of Access systems, distributed areas within the Los Glaciares National Park.

Current Fee Schedule

The following rates are in effect for the 2025–2026 season, as established by Resolution RESFC-2024-228-APN-D#APNAC of the National Parks Administration:

  • General: $45.000 ARS
  • National: $15.000 ARS
  • Students: $7.000 ARS
  • Provincial residents: $5.000 ARS
  • Exempt: Free

Access Portals

  • Northern Zone (El Chaltén)
    • Los Cóndores Portal: Entry point for the Mirador de Los Cóndores & Las Águilas, Loma del Pliegue Tumbado, and Laguna Toro trails.
    • Base Fitz Roy Portal: Entry point for the Laguna Torre, Laguna de los Tres, and Chorrillo del Salto trails.
    • Rio Eléctrico Portal: Entry point for the Piedra del Fraile, Mirador Piedras Blancas, and Laguna de los Tres trails.
  • Southern Zone (El Calafate)
    • Rio Mitre – Perito Moreno Glacier Portal: Access to the Perito Moreno Glacier boardwalk area.
    • Puerto Punta Bandera: Embarkation point for lake excursions (Upsala Glacier, Spegazzini Glacier, etc.).

FlexiPass - Season 2025-2026

2-Day Promotional Pass

Purchase one ticket valid for two days and receive a 50% discount on your second visit. The second visit can be used at any access portal within 72 hours of the first entry.

FlexiPass — 3 or 7 Days

Ideal for those planning 3 or more visits to the park, whether consecutive or on alternate days, and through any access portal (valid for both Northern and Southern zones). This pass can be used within 6 months of purchase.

  • FlexiPass 3 Days: Allows up to 3 entries at any Los Glaciares National Park access portal.
  • FlexiPass 7 Days: Allows up to 7 entries at any Los Glaciares National Park access portal.

Annual Pass

A promotional pass granting access to all National Parks and Protected Areas in Argentina (including Los Glaciares National Park) for a period of 12 months.

Payment Methods

  • Northern Zone (Los Cóndores, Base Fitz Roy & Río Eléctrico portals):
    Tickets are purchased online only — either through the official website in advance, or on-site by scanning a QR code. Card payment only — cash is not accepted.
  • Southern Zone (Río Mitre–Perito Moreno Glacier & Puerto Punta Bandera portals):
    Tickets can be purchased on-site with credit card (Visa/Mastercard), debit card (Electron), cash (Argentine pesos), or online.

How to Buy Tickets Online — Step by Step

  1. Go to ventaweb.apn.gob.ar and log in (email login recommended)
  2. Select the park you’re visiting: Parque Nacional Los Glaciares
  3. Choose your pass type and the access portal you’ll be entering through
  4. Select your intended entry date
  5. Choose your visitor category and complete the form with your personal details
  6. Select your payment method and enter your card details to complete the purchase
  7. Once payment is confirmed, your entry ticket will be sent to you by email

Yes. When you purchase a 2-day pass, your second visit receives a 50% discount — effectively paying one and a half tickets. Keep in mind:

  • Both visits must be purchased together as a single ticket — buying two separate tickets does not qualify.

  • The second visit must be used within 72 hours of the first entry.

  • The second visit can be used at any access portal (Northern or Southern Zone).

No. Your second visit is valid for up to 72 hours (3 days) after your first entry.

No. The 50% discount on the second visit applies to the same person only — the pass is non-transferable.

The FlexiPass is a promotional pass offering a discount based on the number of days selected. There are currently two options:

  • FlexiPass 3 Days: Grants up to 3 entries to Los Glaciares National Park, consecutively or on alternate days.

  • FlexiPass 7 Days: Grants up to 7 entries to Los Glaciares National Park, consecutively or on alternate days.

Important notes:

  • The FlexiPass is personal and non-transferable.

  • One single ticket is issued covering the full number of days purchased.

  • It remains valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

  • It can be used at any access portal within Los Glaciares National Park.

Yes. The Perito Moreno Glacier is part of Los Glaciares National Park (Southern Zone), so the FlexiPass is valid there too.

Not at all. You can use the FlexiPass at any point within 6 months of purchase and at any access portal within the park.

Yes. Whether you’re Argentine or from abroad, you’re entitled to the Student Pass as long as you can present valid proof of current enrollment.

Children under 6 years old are exempt from the entry fee, regardless of country of residence. Please remember to bring a valid ID or passport as appropriate.

No. You only pay for one entry pass, regardless of how many days you spend inside the park. As long as you remain within the park, no additional entry fee is required.

No. Your pass is valid for the entire day and covers all trails. If you plan to hike two different trails on the same day, one pass is all you need.
