CHORRILLO DEL SALTO
One of El Chaltén’s best short options for a relaxed morning or afternoon outing. The trail to Chorrillo del Salto is perfect for those looking for something easy yet rewarding. From the viewpoint, you can admire a beautiful 15-meter waterfall that flows down into the Río de las Vueltas.
The trail begins at the northern end of Av. San Martín and shares a short section with the trail to Laguna de los Tres. Alternatively, you can continue straight along Provincial Route 41 until reaching the turnoff.
The path is very well signed, with several points along the way offering views of the Río de las Vueltas
Total distance: 7 km (Back and Forth).
Estimated time: 1:30 – 2 hours.
Half-day tour. It is feasible to make this hike at any time.
